I just now finished Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and if there has been a greater story written in the last 50 years, I am unaware of it. Like all great fantasy epics, the resolution brought the proper closure that a story of this magnitude deserves. I loved it; every last word of it. So many emotional responses; satisfying ones. From Molly Weasley’s final outburst to Draco Malfoy finding a small modicum of redemption from the irony of Voldemort killing himself accidentally . . . what a story.
I’m spent and its bedtime. More thoughts later, I’m sure.
